Anhad Singh Bachhal is an adventurous young Sikh boy born in Texas, who has traveled to all 50 US states with his parents. With an insatiable curiosity and a passion for storytelling, Anhad published his first children’s book, Curious Me, at the age of five, sharing 22 playful tales from his early childhood. His travels continue to inspire his writing, with books about experiences like humpback whales bubble-net feeding in Alaska, petting iguanas in Belize and finding flamingos in Bolivia. Anhad also nurtures his love for nature through birdwatching and his backyard garden, Anhad Organic Farm. He is on a mission to take his books to 100 libraries across the world.

Amanjot (mom) is a designer and illustrator. Her alma maters include National Institute of Design (M Des) in Ahmedabad, India & University of Texas at Austin (MFA Design). Her art, design and research work have taken her to speak at conferences, companies, non-profits, and consortiums across the globe. Her passion for drawing started when her dad bought her first drawing book at the age of 3. Her work in these books showcases her love for illustrations, photography and painting throughout her life. She loves working with her personal storyteller, Anhad to create these beautiful illustrations. She believes art of living is nothing but "doing art".
gagandeep singh bachhal
Born and raised in India, Gagan (dad) discovered his passion for storytelling through his love for the outdoors and theatre. His academic journey in engineering led him to the United States, where he now lives in Texas with his wife, Aman, and their son, Anhad. A playwright and actor for the past 23 years, Gagan has written and performed in both English and Punjabi on stages across India and the US. Coming from a long line of farmers and military service members in India, Gagan’s heritage deeply influences his worldview and creative work. A student of human psychology, he believes in the transformative power of human emotion and storytelling to create positive change in the world. Having traveled to all 50 US states, he contributed to "United Travels of America" book as both a writer and photographer. Gagan holds an MS from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
